Classic Jazz Bassist Billy Pillucere, dies at 62.

William Pillucere, Jr., known as "Billy", was a professional bassist who specialized in classic jazz and could be heard at many festivals, particularly around Florida. Born in New York in 1957 his death came unexpectedly on December 18th. He was a member of the AL Downing Jazz Society in Tampa Bay and played with the Karen Benjay Trio. He was also a piano tuner and well respected in his local jazz community leaving behind many friends and fans.
