The simple way to send a gift subscription is HERE. Use that link unless the recipient has no internet access. Using that link an email is sent to the recipient announcing your gift and it walks them through providing an address for delivery and picking a username and password for the website. This page is the alternative method for when the recipient might be less computer savvy.

To create this account for the recipient use their email address and pick them a temporary password. Or if they don't have an email address just make one up.
