Arbors Records Celebrates 35 Years of Jazz Excellence with Special Anniversary Sale

St. Petersburg, FL – [May 1, 2025] – Arbors Records, the distinguished independent jazz label renowned for preserving and promoting classic jazz styles, proudly celebrates its 35th anniversary in 2025. To mark this milestone, Arbors is offering a special promotion: starting the month of May, every CD* in their expansive catalog will be available for just $5. This is a rare opportunity for jazz lovers to revisit—or newly discover—a legacy of world-class recordings.

A Legacy of Passion and Preservation

Founded in 1989 by jazz devotees Mat and Rachel Domber, Arbors Records began with a single inspired recording—Rick Fay’s Hot Five: Live at Lone Pine—and has since blossomed into a catalog of more than 300 critically acclaimed releases.

From its earliest offerings, Arbors Records has championed artists who embody the spirit of jazz—from legendary names to rising talents who bring fresh energy to timeless traditions. With its deep focus on traditional jazz, swing, and melodic improvisation, the label has played a vital role in keeping the golden sounds of classic jazz alive and accessible to today’s audiences.

Over the years, Arbors has earned a loyal following and widespread critical acclaim, including several Grammy nominations. Its extensive catalog features some of the genre’s most revered artists, including Ruby Braff, Dick Hyman, Kenny Davern, Bob Wilber, John Pizzarelli, Ken Peplowski, Nicki Parrott, Diego Figueiredo, and many more.

Today, Arbors Records continues to thrive under the leadership of Rachel Domber, President, and Brian Wittman, VP/Creative Director, who oversees day-to-day operations. Together, they uphold the label’s unwavering commitment to artistry, quality, and the preservation of jazz’s timeless spirit.
