This month we note the passing of two longtime members of Connecticut’s Galvanized Jazz Band, pianist Bill Sinclair and cornetist Fred Vigorito. Vigorito himself alerted The Syncopated Times to Sinclair’s death only weeks before his own passing. Both men will be remembered in greater depth in Jeff Barnhart’s “My Inspirations” column in this and next month’s issues.
