This is a somewhat obscure, yet excellent record. Vaudeville performer Julia Davis’ vocals are quite good on these two songs and Johnny Dodds and R.Q. Dickerson were playing well together. The song “Jasper Taylor Blues” has very humorous lyrics. I’ll bet it was a real crowd pleaser when or if it was played live.
