Carol (Roper) Shaw, wife of long-term TST columnist Lew Shaw, passed away on May 4 at her home in Scottsdale at the age of 94. She met Lew when both were employed at the home office of the Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. They were married on May 5, 1950 and had a happy and fulfilling life together for 73 years.
