Scott Joplin at 150 Concert

On Thursday, November 29 at 7 pm EST WQXR The "King of Ragtime" Scott Joplin's 150th birthday will be celebrated at The Greene Space in New York City.  The event will be hosted by pianist Jade Simmons, with performances by pianists Dave Burrell, Roy Eaton, Joshua Rifkin; soprano Laquita Mitchell; multi-instrumentalist Jerron "Blind Boy" Paxton; and Pulitzer-Prize winning author Tyehimba Jess.
