Charlie Halloran Discography

Charlie Halloran is one of the busiest sidemen in New Orleans but he has only released two albums under his own name.

He can be heard around town playing trombone for Meschiya Lake and the Little Big Horns, the Palmetto Bug Stompers, the Panorama Jazz Band, The Riverside Jazz Collective, Doro Wat, and the Shotgun Jazz Band.

Originally from St. Louis, he also plays nationally with Greg Ruby and the Rhythm Runners, has recorded with Pokey Lafarge, and is a member of Squirrel Nut Zippers.

It is to highlight people like him that we started the discography project.

This one needs confirmation. Allmusic credits Charlie Halloran but Louisiana Music Factory does not. The answer may be a different John Boutté album.

We will be creating discographies for other traditional jazz artists starting with those active in New Orleans.  If you want to make a list for an individual artist and send it our way it will make the project go much faster. We have a wish list of over 50 musicians who deserve a discography, it will only grow.
