His first album, Swing That Music, paid tribute to three Louis’; Prima, Armstrong, and Jordan, delivering an eclectic mix of American classics with personality and style. The album was recognized in major jazz magazines and Bacher found his place in the New York City supper club scene.
Also a playwright whose works have been performed internationally, and a successful comedienne, Bacher has a friendly and engaging stage presence that wins over audiences. His new album, Still Happy, captures this positive spirit in a “contemporary classic” presentation backed by top-notch musicians.
At the album release event Danny, who accompanies his smooth vocals on saxophone, will appear with Broadway piano legend Allen Farnham, Dean Johnson (bass), Samuel Martinelli (drums), Harry Allen (tenor sax), and Charles Caranicas (trumpet).
