Bix Beiderbecke and his Rhythm Jugglers
While Bix was working for the Charley Straight Orchestra in 1925, he recorded this session with friends from the Jean Goldkette Orchestra at Gennett Studio, in Richmond Indiana.

This was the first band to record under Beiderbecke’s name. The song “Davenport Blues” gets its name from Davenport, Iowa, Bix’s home town. “Toddlin’ Blues” is an Original Dixieland Jass Band song.

They are of inferior quality to what is available commercially and are intended for reference purposes only. In some cases a Real Audio (.ra) file from will download. Don't be scared! Those files will play in many music programs, but not Windows Media Player.
